Analysis
As time passes countries are expected to strive and add onto their advances as a country. The advances and state of their country is evident in their demographics. The indicators in their demographics can tell the stories of a country such as their economic development and the current status for women. Based on the demographic indicators, Western Europe overall has seen their development to be in Stage 4 due to the high advances in technology, tourist attractions, wine, cheese, etc. businesses that help the region strive and have a stable line of money that they can invest in a better environment in economy. Along with stable businesses, higher populations of the middle aged compared to the older population mean that the advances in the medical field and healthcare is also increasing which is proven due to countries having low infant fatalities. With the thriving and advancement of the economic and health areas, the educational section is bound to also strive which is proven because the birth rate decreases and fertility rate. Decreases in birth rate and fertility mean that women now focus more on education compared to in the past where they focused more on child birth. Death rates would appear to be catching up to the birth rate despite the advanced health care system due to low birth rates which is also due to the source of women’s education, equality. With the countries becoming more advanced, the women are offered high quality education also because of the better gender balance where now the women are offered more rights. This is also proven because women now have life spans comparable or even greater than men which means they are also receiving quality healthcare that men receive.

Focusing on the Western parts of Europe, the regions such as France, United Kingdom, and Belgium find themselves to have about 1,040 people living per square mile. These countries with higher densities are due to the extremely higher percentage of urbanization compared to rural areas such as France that has an urban percentage of 80%, Belgium of 98%, Monaco of 100%, and the United Kingdom of 83%. On the other hand, the countries of Western Europe where there is not as high of population density show urban percentages such as Austria with an urban percentage of 66%, Ireland of 63%, and Liechtenstein of 14%. The overall population is dense in more urban, not rural, areas where there are many job opportunities compared to areas where there is not as much urbanization.
